Barbra Streisand (芭芭拉·史翠珊)

芭芭拉·史翠珊1942年4月24日出生在纽约布鲁克林区的犹太家庭。她从小就立志当明星，18岁时，在夜总会举办的歌唱比赛中获胜，便开始了演唱生涯，并参加外百老汇演出，慢慢在圈中闯出名号。1962年首度在百老汇登台，就赢得了“纽约剧评家奖”。1964年主演歌舞剧《妙女郎》（Funny Girl），将她推上剧坛巨星地位。4年后此剧拍成电影，芭芭拉顺利当上女主角，也让她抱回一座奥斯卡女主角奖。其后她几乎一年一部推出歌舞片和喜剧，直至1983年她一手包办制、编、导、演的《杨朵》（Yentl，1983），成绩不凡，获得多项奥斯卡提名。其后再自导自演的《潮浪王子》（The Prince of Tides，1991）与《双面镜》（The Mirror Has Two Faces，1996）也广受好评。仍然活跃在好莱坞与舞台的影歌双栖女星芭芭拉·史翠珊推出过超过50张zz、编、导、演的影片也有20多部，千禧年演唱会更是一票难求，可说是宝刀未老。

歌剧猫的主题曲 Memory

在午夜，一个月色中的垃圾场，杰里科猫群的猫们聚在一起，在等待它们领袖的到来，好选取一只将被送到九重天能获得重生的猫。一只只不同性格、不同相貌的猫相继出现有年轻天真的白猫维克多利亚，有很风骚的若腾塔格，以及邪恶的麦卡维蒂，它们开始载歌载舞，展开了一场场精彩的表演……但，一只瘸腿的猫出现了，她艰难地上场，外表褴褛憔悴，饱受生活的摧残，大家都避开了她，她悲伤地唱起了歌，谁能想到她当年是那样样的美貌非凡……
